  • 1940's Indian Wheels

Can anybody tell me what company made the wheels for Indian during the 1940's? I recently picked up 3 wheels. Stamped on the inside of each rim is Kelsey-Hayes, 16.0 x 3.00, and some other type emblem. They have the large spoke nipple holes that I believe Indian used(?). Thanks.

How many spoke holes in the rim?

Kelsey-Hayes was the supplier for Indian, 40 holes per rim, and large nipples. Sport Scout would have different angled holes in the rim due to the laced in brake drum.
