shock removal from frame:

  • shock removal from frame:

    I have the shock loose in the frame but can't drop it down far enough to tilt it out to remove it. The bottom chrome sleeve on the shock is holding it up. What am I doing wrong?

    Are you using a shock removal tool to compress the spring?

      ordered your spring compressor. Hasn't arrived yet. I was understanding it was just for compressing the shock to disassemble the shock it's self. So you have to compress the shock to get it out of the frame also?

        Yes you do need to compress the spring to clear and remove from the frame.

          Luck Me! spring compressor just came in the mail this afternoon. At least I'll have them apart to nite. Happy 4 of July everone!
