1937 Indian Chief Cylinder casting Numbers

I am looking at purchasing a 1937 Indian Chief and found one, but the Cylinder casting numbers are not correct.
The numbers at the base are 85086 and 85088. Does any one know what year these cylinders are?
I know they should be 85612 and 85614, and they should have 2 cooling fins cast around each exhaust port.
If anyone could help identify these cylinders I would appreciate the information.

I have found reference to 85086 in a 1934 Chief parts catalog but no reference to a 85088.

    Hope this helps

      Hello,
Contact Tom Brim at the Brim's Imports dealership location. He has a 1937 Indian for sale that is all original if you happen to be a little hesitant on the bike you are looking at.

Here is his website and I am not affiliated with him at all.

I looked at the vintage bike page and it is not completely finished.

Bill they look great. Who did the machine work and repair on the cylinders?
Also where did you get them nickel plated? Thanks for sharing some photos.
