It would be great to hear your thought about the authenticity of this "Egeberg Cycle Co. INDIAN MOTORCYCLES Minneapolis License Plate Topper" sign

Every now and then these signs show up on ebay. They always show similar spots of wear and are in similar condition.

Howdy chaps,

As recently posted at CAIMAG, Egeberg's in 1941. Seem to vaguely recall a story in the AMCA mag years ago where a father and son restored a 30's era Chief from this dealer(?) managing to save the original saddle bags.
