    King clutch lubrication

I just picked up a 48 Chief yesterday. My first Indian so I am not real familiar. The seller says it has a "King" clutch and he was using 3 parts 30 weight and 1 part ATF. This doesn't seem correct to me so any suggestions what works best with a King clutch would be appreciated.

Also the motor has 1800 miles since rebuild with 30 weight. I am thinking of going with Brad Penn 50 weight. Any thoughts?

Try emailing Rob Olsen I did a search for King Clutch and found his contact information. He should be able to answer Clutch oil question.

As per your engine oil I'd switch to the 50 weight from the 30 weight, that's what I've always used in my Indians and will provide the best life for the motor.

I use HD Sport Trans fluid. It is made for wet clutch that has common trans/ clutch oil.Probably 20 or 30 wt.No King experience but I think its just a wet clutch.
