  • Long Shot - Anyone Recognize These Bikes?

Was looking through an old photo album from 1995 and found these pics of 4 Indians. We were on our way to Yellowstone and cut from Buffalo WY through Big Horn Mountains and the little town of Ten Sleep where we stopped for breakfast. Just as we got out of car, these 4 Indians rolled in. At that time, Only being into off road motorcycling, I had never seen an Indian and was totally captivated by the scene especially being sort of in the middle of nowhere. I never forgot the experience and this is when the seed was planted that I knew someday I would own one.....though it took 17 years.

That's pretty neat, to see four vintage bikes on what appears to be a long trip (judging by the gear on each bike). You don't recall where they were from, do you?

Loved driving up through Bighorn Park to Ten Sleep. Someday I'll get back there on a bike.

Didn't get a pic of any license plates but recall thinking they were a long way from home for old bikes. Want to say at least one was Nevada and think they were farther west states in general but don't know for a fact. I chatted with one of the chaps briefly and it seemed they had been travelling awhile. It was actually in 1994 instead of 95 sometime in July. Aside from the Indians, maybe we were just hungry but that breakfast in Ten Sleep stands out as one of the best ever over countless excursions.
