What is the best way to disconnect the primary from the engine, and trans. I have the clutch sprocket nut out, but I'm having a hard time with the engine sprocket. I'm guessing another left hand thread, it's on there good. If there was an easy way to disassemble the primary drive chain, life would be a little easier. Any tips on this would be appreciated. I'm disassembling the engine to replace some leaky gaskets. Thanks in advance.

Right hand thread, need to block chain and sprocket to keep from turning with hard plastic wedge or aluminum. Might need impact .

Tomfill, thanks for the repy. This would have been easier if the engine was still on the frame. Live and learn. Good tip tho, you must have been in the same spot. The nut looks like it has left hand thread marks, but a trip to Geers web site confirms its a right. Thanks for clearing that up.
