47 Chief connecting rods

Hi there Indian lovers

Question about Chief connecting rods,

A friend here in the UK needed some replacement rods and found a pair which are each 4 oz heavier then the originals. They also have no markings on the beams and are heavier construction around the big end area. Otherwise they seem to be the correct dimensions. He is re building a 47 Chief.

Any ideas?

I think Stark may of had some pictures of the different rods used. I think it was about '44-'46 ,army model ? that had beefier rods,anyone else remember?
