  • Circuit Breaker Installation

I just purchased a circuit breaker (and mounting strap) from Greer Engineering. Starklite had the same set up. I'm pretty sure that the proper way (but wanted to make sure) is to 1) mount the strap to good ground location, 2) mount the circuit breaker to the other side of the strap, and 3) connect the negative side of the battery to the other side of the circuit breaker.

Also, the breaker was advertised as a 6V breaker but the actual breaker I received says 12V and 15A. Does it matter if it a 12V breaker on a 6V system?

    Thanks

    That how I put them on. It's doesn't matter if it's 6 or 12v.
