    steps to restoring 48 chief

    hello i posted this in another post but here its goes again. rolling chassis powder coated and ready to go tires brakes forks kick stands bars done . fenders sheet metal lights trim mocked up ready to dis assemble. what should be my next step while i wait for motor and painted parts to come back. should i start wiring or wait what next ?

    What about all of the cadmium plated parts? There is usually quite a bit of prep, to get that stuff plater ready.

        Just make a note to remember to install top motor mount before installing motor.

          Be sure and Remove all of the Powder coating from the Trans Mount Tab and the Inside of the Motor Mount lugs on the Frame. At Least!
