More 65 XLCH need to no stuff!

Good day lads, Got my next round of 65 XLCH questions. Thanks in advance for your efforts. Bob L
    1. Is the rear fender vibration buffer Parkerized or painted part #59795-52A?
    2. Cable clip bracket 92069-65. I have all the pieces but I can’t figure out were it mounts. As far as I know this is a 65 XLCH only item?
    3. The aluminum head light bracket #67809-59A. Was this chromed or bare aluminum?

    Bob,
    1) fender buffer bracket is painted black
    2) don't know but it gives me something to research!
    3) always polished, never chrome

I’ve restored 3 mid to late 60s XLCHs, had 2 of them judged and have never seen or been dinged for not having a cable clip bracket. Could our parts books be mistaken?

The part does exist and never payed much attention to it until Robert asked the question and and after looking at this part in parts book it also has a speed nut that only clips to sheet metal and there has always been a hole on the back right side of the lower tree cover and wondered what it was there for and was thinking ( I do that sometimes ) that the cables could go there for the front brake cable and the fork mounted right mounted speedo for the 65 sportster and the left tach cable had only the single cable bracket on left side?

Or maybe for both fork mounted left side tach and right side speedo cables on the 65's

That's the a single cable bracket the one that Robert was referring to was a double cable bracket and the mounting location.
