K-KH Chain Guard?

Boys I need you help. I just posted a K model chain guard on E-Bay. Since I don’t own a K-KH model parts book I’m dependent on you. This chain guard is approximately 24” in length. All joints a riveted like the short one. What years is the long riveted one for, what years is the short riveted one for and when does the welded one start. Thanks, Bob

Bob, my Parts Manual for K Models 52-56 lists the following:

# 60303-52 Rear Chain Guard (replaced by 60303-52A)

No illustration for the #60303-52 chain guard

#60303-52A Rear Chain Guard...........52-56

The illustration shown in the Parts Book for above number shows this as a Long chain guard.

#60303-56 Rear Chain Guard.............56-Model KH

The illustration shown in the Parts Book for above number shows
this as a Short chain guard.

The long chain guard has a short front mounting tab. The Short chain guard has a long front mountimg tab.
