The hills will soon be white here in the Highlands. and the temperature is dropping, so it's an ideal time (!) to pull the covers off this winter's project. A 1966 XLCH that I began assembling back in the spring, but once the sun came out it went back into hibernation as British Riding Time arrived.
I think I've got most everything except an aluminium rear wheel rim 43008-60. Has anyone got one, preferably a 68-69 drilled one that they'd be willing to part with for a sensible price?
Meanwhile, there's plenty of work to do getting fenders etc. ready for paint. Maybe some of you would like to see the build as it goes along?
