Indeed, once you cross the mid-80" mark on a sportster based stroker . . . you are in a totally different territory. I describe them as giant electric motors which regulate speed by how fast you come up on the traffic in front of you. They remain surprisingly fast bikes even today.

All that said, as unbelievable as it sounds; every thing we are talking about is well before 1990 -- and therefore, AMCA eligible. I've ridden two of my strokers on National Road runs in 2022 and 2024.

Even EVO powered models are well within AMCA guidelines. Currently, any 1986-1990 Evo powered sportster or Big Twin is fully AMCA eligible for everything from judging to road runs.

Yes, I agree. - I'm guessing that if not externally changed, they would be judgable or, like my 1970 CH at worst, 'Period Modified'.
