What sportster frames are the same? I believe 57-69 are the same, but I'm not sure. I have a 70 with a "kick" in rear down tubes. Is this an xl vs xlch feature or a year feature. I'm trying to get my 57 sportie back into the right (at least looking) frame.

As the story goes;
47014-56 fits 56 thru at 63, and probably 64 KH, XL & XLH
47014-58 fits 58-65 XLCH
I would imagine the major differences are related to the oil tank, tool box and coil cover mounting locations. The CH frame will have
less mounting nerds on it. [Horseshoe oil tank, regulator mounted on generator] Hope this helps...
