    Mainshaft Thrust washer pin

    New so bare with me..no pin when took apart, washer, mainshaft, race and bearings all look really good...is pin really needed to stop thrust washer from spinning?

    K and Sportster do not have pins for the thrust washer. Neither do big Twins with Timken bearing engines. The pinned washers are on all the loose roller engines.
