    Searching for a headlight/ignition switch for a '65 Sportster

    Hi folks:

    I want to help a fellow Sportster owner find a headlight/ignition switch for a '65 Sportster? The PN is 7500-59.

    If you know of one that is available or for sale, or any suppliers likely to have the switch I would appreciate any contact information you can offer.

      The first portion of your part number should have five digits, then the hyphen, and then the year. Try to google the number.

          The full part number is 71500-59. I assume you are working on an XLH Sportster, because the XLCH had no ignition switch.
