    1968 rear brake question

    I am restoring a 1968 flh and need a rear brake hub. It looks like there are different options available cast or stamped steel . new or used any opinions Thanks if you can help

    Your question is confusing. Do you mean Hub? or Brake Drum" All the juice brake drums are cast iron for '68-72. All use the commonly called mid-star hub which is a welded up assembly of stamped and machined parts.

      I have a mid star brake drum on the front . Did they use a mid star hub on the back wheel also.

        Yes, the wheels are set up to be interchangeable, they are identical.
