check piston size

hi there,

just checking the piston size from 73 FXE.

just see B on top but other than that... nothing can be seen.

is this STD original piston? please advice.

Continue cleaning carbon off, oversize is only lightly stamped. Better to measure bore of cylinder and diameter of piston 90 deg. to wrist pin. Good luck.

More than likely standard, un marked with size but measuring is the real tattle tale. 3.4370"(3 7/16") for the stock 1200cc/74CI motor.
