Another pretty bike, and another titling question. In the UK you would struggle to get a title on a bike with S&S cases, and anything with a repro frame counts as a new bike rather than a historic one, and has to get Single Vehicle Approval, which can mean you have bought a metal sculpture that will not see the road. What is the situation in the US, and does it vary by State?

Nice bike but not a "Restoration".

        tons of repop.
s&s cases, so it's not a real harley.
        wrong paint scheme for 68.
it's a pretty bike, but not even close to being a restoration or a correct 68.
i think the seller got VERY lucky getting 12.5 for that

With non-stock cases it's probably titled as a Special Construction, rather than a 68 H-D, which reduces the value considerably. The seller got lucky...

As mentioned, the only person to get a deal was the seller!

BINGO! Special Construction. Seller stated that he had the original cracked cases? A new set of S&S cases has to be a helluva lot more expensive than a reworked set of originals. Once the S&S cases were installed, it ceased to be a 1968 FLH. Blue or Green Tagged, depending on the individual DMV State laws.
