Other then the tank emblems, is there any differance between '56 and '57 tanks and also how do the '56 tank emblems mount, Thanks Whitey

No differance, Emblems are mounted with flat head screws.

Actually the '57 tanks have a round flat spot where the emblems mount.

'55 and '56 tanks are the same , emblems and all. '57 and '58 tanks are the same with different color emblems. '54 tanks have the same mounting strip strip as the top one for '51-'53 without the bottom one.The strip is also the same for '55-'56. A common pitfall is that '54 tanks look very much like '55-'56 tanks, however the mounting strip is physically higher on the tanks. Measure the strip on yours from the bottom edge (or from the cap down) and from the dimensions it will get sorted out.

And 63-64 tanks are similar as far as the mount strip goes. I could be wrong but I believe that the 63-64 strip if further forward than the 55-56 strip mounts.
