  • 50 E numbers

I have a line on a lower end I'm interested in. Haven't seen them or a picture yet but the #'s are supposed to be 50 E 9--9. Is that right? I thought the letters were EL. I'm actually needing two sets of cases from 58 to 64, but I thought this may be good trading material.
It's not a short drive to look so I thought I would ask for info first.

    Thanks Kerry

There was an E model in 1950. Is that all you were needing to know?

An E is a low compression 61" engine. Being as all the FL 74" stuff will bolt into it chances are it is no longer 61".

Thanks, I kinda thought it was right because of the FL and U, but have never seen an E. It still has the 61 wheels in. The guy said he wanted to put big bore Shovel cylindars on it and race the 80ci class. Luckily he never persued that idea.
