48 Pan Offset Springer question?

Just picked up a 48 Springer. The casting numbers on the front leg end with a number "18". Does this sound correct? Anybody?

I would think so. As a reference, My offset with no lock hole in the neck stem (assuming 47) has both 15 on the front leg and on the rear leg forging.
