32E 6 volt generator

I am rebuilding a 1950 panhead generator and I would like to know if the name tag is zinc or brass? I have seen both on this generator not sure which is correct for 1950

Believe it is supposed to be zinc. The one on my EL is zinc. I think brass was the prewar bikes, before brass became a strategic metal...

Before you order a tag, though, check with Chris Haynes... he will know for sure. He helped me ID the right tag for my bike.
