Rear brake lines '62FL

Hello all
Could someone direct me to info on proper lines after the nerd on frame.
End on flex line isn't long enough to secure to nerd.I am familiar with later style,have'69,with threaded end,also diff. in wheel cyl.Backer plate,wheel cyl. appear correct for '62. Looked at sevice manual with no luck.End of flex line has a groove,just not long enough to stick thru.

I don't have time to dig mine out and photograph right now. I'm heading out of town for a couple of days, but if you haven't got anything by the time I get back I'll do that for you.

Thank you for responding. I would appreciate that.Alot of things to address on '62,typical butchery.Trying to get it safe to ride before season.
