  • Fork Tins

One of the jobs i am contemplating is bringing the front end of my 51FL up to original. In the process I would like to refrubush my original fork tins which are in moderate shape with a few dents. Does anyone know a person or shop that does that type of work??

    Thanks,

    King

I have a great dent man here in Los Angeles. I am getting a load of stuff ready for him now. Just waiting for Tom to send me his stuff. I can take your in at the same time. Usually a week turnaround.

Chris, do you have an extra 36 used speedo out there, the last used one I got was from Alan Chuna about 8 yrs ago, thanks, Larry

I have none. But Alan seems to have an endless supply of them.

          King,

I may have one here that I could swap you for. I have several that came with a 58 I bought that had a whole pile of parts with it. I will look over the weekend and call you or you call me. Mike Mueller also may be able to get it straight for you as well. he has done some amazing work on his 48 straighting out bent, dinged, dented stuff.

            Thanks Chris and Rollo

Chris: It will be some time before I am ready to do the job so I won't be able to meet your current order. Rollo: I'll have a chat with Mike at the next meeting.
