    Looking for a NOS Victory Camshaft # 25523-56

    Hello

    I'm restoring my 58DuoGlide and looking for a NOS Victory Camshaft, Part # 25523-56. Any suggestions?

      I would simply order a new one from someone like Lieneweber. NOS cams are a thing of the past.

          Thank you for your input... by which one should I go?

          Andrews, Sifton, Leinweber, Crane...!?

          Someone here on forum with some experiences?

          Also, which Camshaft-type from what manufacturer cover the old Victory-Cam parameters?

          A Cross-Index would be much appreciated!

          I also don't have in mind to do some headwork - I'd prefer a bolt-in cam...

              I install Andrews J-Grind in stock 74" Pan motors. Reasonably priced, bolt in, and easy to buy, the machines start and run very well with this cam.

                  I agree with Kyle. The 'Hot' factory cams of the past were always a compromise. While they did offer a little more power in certain ranges of the power band, they still had to be useable for a very wide and diverse set of customers from diverse locations. In my opinion the Andrews J or one of the milder Leinweber cams will give you (at least) similar performance to that of the old factory Victory cam. And they'll idle and otherwise behave like stock.

                              I put a J grind in my 65flh when I restored it. The original victory cam had one bad lobe, although it ran fine and was quiet. I have a NOS victory cam in my 58flh. The 58 runs great, so does the 65. They both idle and start the same. The 58 feels stronger and pulls harder, BUT it is considerably LIGHTER....,Rod
