Seamless police mufflers?

A few years ago I recall someone posting an add in the Antique Motorcycle magazine inquiring for information about an optional seamless muffler being offered for panhead police applications. I've always wondered if such a police option was ever offered as I haven't seen this in any old literature.

I don't recall ever running across a seamless, genuine H-D looking muffler. And I look through every body's junk hunting my treasures.
