Factory Performance Options for 65 FLH

Does anyone know if the factory offered any performance options for police versions of the 65 FLH?

Most police bikes were FL's weren't they. At least the ones I've seen, other than earlier ones being FLE's.

A popular misconception is that police bikes were FLs only. In reality a municipality or state ordered whatever model fit their needs and budget. So many FLHs were police bikes. Also, any package could be ordered, so they were not always in basic utility guise with only black accessories. Many had chrome on them. And the FLE was a specific performance package used by many purchasers, not just police. Also note that many PDs used foot shift bikes.

I guess the FL's were just more popular because of the price. My 62 and my buddy's 65 are both FL's and both ex police bikes from opposite ends of the country.
