There is also a frame-mounted shifter, sometimes known as the 'Police Shifter'.

Not on a 62 though, they didn't appear until 66, and by the way they're not really a 'Police Shifter' (a frame mounted hand shifter, just incorrectly called, like a solo seat being called a 'Police Seat'), it's just that they were more prevalent on them. I have a spare set of 62 tank shift tanks if you're interested, PM me.

I wasn't sure about the year, Dewey. But I did say "sometimes" known as a Police Shifter.
