  • rear o-ring type chain ???

Is there a page of discussions regarding o-ring rear drive chains anywhere? I'm thinking of using one and heard Diamond is not very good ,also it can rub on the primary case. If my primary case is going to leak oil anyway ,my whitewalls will be splattered in no time ,and having an o-ring chain might be pointless anyway. What do you folks think ?

    Couple of previous discussions:

All o-ring chains are w-i-d-e-r than ordinary chains. At minimum, you'll have to run the master link lock on the "inside," facing the tire, IF the master link will fit behind your primary (Talking about Harleys, 30s-60s) Test to see if one will fit at all by linking the master link between the ends of the chain you have, r. wheel jacked up, and make sure you have clearance all the way around.
Tsubaki makes a good, little-narrower-than-the-others one, but there are others. About $120, retail. Hope this helps!

You may have to space the inner primary out with an extra washer on the lower mounting tab, as well as running the master clip on the inside like Sarge suggests...Mike
