Hi, I'm servicing the forks on my '58 FLH. Any suggestions on what fork oil to use? I know the original is very light. Just wondering what works best.

I have always liked the factory recommended type B for the big twin forks. I have never run any through a ford cup to check the viscosity, though I probably should some day. At a guess I would say type B falls right between 15W &20W fork oil. I prefer the 20W in later bikes with full fairings.Brian Howard AMCA#5866
