Cable ferrule

How does that little ferrule get attached to the end of the cable? I got lots of photos and none of them show any type of crimping. This is another one of them mind bending questions thats just got to have an answer. Bob

I bought all my replacement cloth covered control coils from Bruce Linsday. The ferrules were all there where appropriately called for. They do not look to be crimped. Maybe a light press fit? I don't want to attempt to remove them..........

bob,they just screw down the cable coil after you remove the cloth or outer coating to the proper length.the ferrule hole must be the right size for the coil
