          48hdbob1!

Those look like the later wide ones, and even Tedd's offers repops.

I confess however, that I haven't the patience to have ever tested any.

They HAVE to be better than stainless replacements that are wider than .750"

          PS:
I strongly endorse JAMES true viton O-rings!
(No, I do not retail anything separate from my services, nor am I unusually associated with JAMES. I might order twice a year.)

              Underdoggie!

Yes, '65 definitely uses the late clamp.

I might be wrong once again,
but I believe '55-'56 used a narrower clamp of the same design, also available in reproduction.
              That's why Chris asked.

I have some of the narrow type, NOS. I looked but they must be at the bottom of the pile. I'll look again when I get a minute and post a pic.-Bob

These are 1/2 in. wide, the others are 3/4 in. and narrow to 1/2 in. to pass thru the clamp.-Bob

I haven't looked at the NOS part stuff lately. One has to be careful when shopping by part #. You could end up with this, a Shovelhead clamp that retro-fits back to the Panheads.-Bob

The NOS site has nice pictures that show the thin clamps, I think I'll try a set, they must be better than the aircraft style...Mike
