      Maybe 100 pounds

We once put a 23 J motor on a small boat with a flat top back deck concealing the fish wells. The motor was found precariously mounted within the confines of a modified bicycle frame. Attached to the assembly was a bearing block that carried a shaft pulley and you guessed it a wooden airplane propeller. After launching the boat and test riding/cruising? it several people came over for the day taking rides until sun set, what a blast. Later we took the assembly to Wauseon Ohio for the AMCA meet and sold it to Vince. Top speed maybe five nots....... (a little sailor lingo) slow would best describe the cruise speed.

          Panhead Motor

Pulled mine out of the frame and it sure felt like more than 135 lbs. Maybe I'm getting older than I think.
