Reproduction windshield glass

I have been told recently it is no longer legal to reproduce the windshield glass from plexiglass. The only one available is the lexan glass maufactured by National Cycle. Two things I don't like about this glass is the company logo is on the glass and the beading looks blue.
Is this the only reproduction glass available?
