Anyone know off hand the year they started putting the two holes in the kickstand mount. Thanks, Bob L

Kickstand
After having problems with the kickstand on my 47 U I was told the two hole bracket is for swing arm frames, so that would make it 1958 first year? That two hole bracket didn't let my bike lean over far enough and would drop it if the front frork was turned over to the right. -
Thank you. You are correct. Finally got back to the shop and checked my manual and sure enough 57 and down is -36 and 58 and up is -58. I didn’t know there was a angle change to the whey it made the bike stand. I just figured they put two holes in it for what ever reason. Bob LComment
