    Royalite bubble bags

Looking for some information on the Royalite bubble bags that were on Duoglides in the early 60's. I am particularly interested in the mounting brackets and the way they mounted onto the fender braces. I have a set now but they do not seem to fit right or are missing something.. Any help would be appreciated.

I do have a set of both. The big thing I am looking for is the mounting plate and the proper way the luggage rack mounts to the plate.

As you can see in Chris's picture there is a space between the plates and the fender brace. If you have a rack it is BETWEEN the plate and brace and replaces the spacers used when mounted without one.

so there is a spacer between the plate and the luggage rack mount. Does anyone have the measurements of the plates. I am trying to make some and all I have is a set off of a sportster. The pins that the top of the bags mount to are they riveted or welded on? And the two sets of holes, one should mount the plate itself to the fender struts, and the other one should mount the hoop to the plate. Is that correct or am I looking at it wrong?
