What is the correct color of red for the emblems?

Where do I get the paint?

Anyone have a recommendation to do the work once I get them chromed?

Run a form search for tank badges, I remember a thread about this a while back. Maybe in Knuckleheads.

Yup, just did another post and thread search but nothing. Thought maybe I missed it the first time through. I know I cannot be the only guy that started with a set of phucked up badges and everyone else got the pristine, need nothing but set screw ones

i bought testors model fire engine red to redo mine don't know if that is correct but looks close

call david@jackson jewelry 210-520-1885 he restores all years of tank emblems and since you have all the dents out and already plated he will probably paint them the correct color red for you. you can also contact this guy for any color any year harley paint---hope this helps
