  • Keys for a ignition and neck lock

Where is the best place to get keys made if you have the key codes on your locks? When did they stop putting codes on ignition and neck locks? Thanks Tom

tom i have moved several times in my life and any time i need keys i always look for the oldest locksmith around and he usually has briggs and stratton keys. i don't think they collect them but usually just the kind of people that never throw anything away. i have several old keys with numbers on them and there are people advertising that they make any keys from key codes for antique harleys and probably one of them will answer this thread. i've seen people asking $35 for one key on ebay and the last time i had a key made for the spare tire carrier on my sidecar it only cost me $10. i'll try to get in touch with him. i used to be a locksmith at baptist hospital in nashville so he probably gave me a deal. what number do you need?
