48 Serial #s

I've got a 48 FL that has a serial # in the high 12k. Curious how high the series went and what might have been the last number of the 48s?

I'm working on resizing my pic's so they will accomdate this forum size limits.

Didn't H-D make almost 12,000 48 Big Twins? That would mean serial nos. would run up to almost 13,000.

The "offical" number is 12,924 1948 Panheads. Bare in mind that these are calendar year production numbers and not year model numbers.

Thanks for the info, my other bikes are only four digits so I was suprized buy the five on the 48.
