Linkert M-74B

Hi...

I have two Linkert M-74 carbs that both have the original brass body, which is actually something of a copper color, but I'm told that to be technically correct on a 65 FL or FLH, the body should be painted flat black.

Is that correct, or is it an option to leave it the bare metal color?

Actually semi gloss black. All the external parts should be cadminm plated.
