  • Pan Tansmission Case #

I need some help identifying a Pan transmission I came across this weekend. Was told it is off a '52 Pan. I think later. The case is identified with the following casting marks: '121 35' and *33* on the bottom. The vent plug boss is not drilled (as in '56 & later). I've looked through Palmer's book to no avail. Any words of wisdom? Thanks, William Edwards AMCA #10035

If the vent boss is not drilled, the case is for a 56-64 model.

        Thank you! As I suspected.

I have a case identical to it. There are alot of those case with the 3-3 casting which meant that HD was sitting on this case for well over a year before it got machined. Times must have been slow.
