  • Starter Pedal Bolt for '65 Pan

Have an NOS starter lever to replace the aftermarket chrome one that was on my 65 Pan. Was the original bolt a CP1038? or a CP1035? Checking, I have both. Assuming it was parkerized in either case?

Not 1035, could either be CP1038 or a circle F. Which I don't really know.

Thanks. Thought 1035 would be too old. 1038 or circle F. Looking at Palmers book, but you know it's not the greatest for '65 Pan detail.

Circle F is the trademark for Foster.

Well, based on Parker's book 1038 until 64, after that circle F. So I guess either would be appropriate? Anyone want to guess what the AMCA judge might look for?

            Hi,

We're using 1038 CP Parker for that bolt on all our bikes and have had no problems with the judges.

            Cheers,
