and here is the inside, notice the -58B forging number. Plan on visiting a freind this weekend , should be able to find an early one at his place. Will posts pics if he has one.

OK Following will be pics of the early style left axle clip. Sorry , these pics were taken of a complete bike, but I think you can see well enough. Also got thinking about frames, and there is a change there as well. In 68 the factory added the gusset plate to the left side of the frame under the oil tank.
