Get a drip from my fuel tank shutoff, won't quit. I've had it apart a couple of times, don't see anything wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks Jim

leaky fuel tank shutoff

The rolled copper Linkert bowlnut gaskets only seal the banjo fitting on the outside. But they do it with ease.
Leaking through the valve itself is another matter.
The Factory tool for re-aligning the tank fails to take the springyness of a good tank into consideration.
I have a crude threadchaser for the bottom bung that is centerdrilled 1/4" all the way through. This allows me to screw it in and eyeball the alignment.
That, and a wooden mallet, makes re-alignment a cinch.
