Hello - long time member infrequent poster of late. I've worked with AMCA Member Paul Friebus al lot. He was intrinsic when I was performing a full restoration on my '65 FLH that achieved a 99.75 judging and the Wolverton Awared for best restoration at Perkiomen meet years back. I am going to be getting it now ready for sale and really would like to contact him.

I know where the shop is and I'm going to be in the area this week (Catawissa) and planning to make a visit with him to discuss some things.

I'm sure if he's still in the same place he would remember me if he is in good health.

If anyone has a good contact number or other info you would be willing to share in terms of his current status. Please - PM me, don't post here.

In this group you should see a lot of archival info from when I was working this restoration.

    Thanks!

    Ray

I guess that's why they call it Dope.

          Nobody, Micmac,...

Has the right to ziploc bags.
Or precision scales (which I have collected my whole life.)
          Much less defense tools.

But he's still innocent until proven guilty, please.
          How did the trial go?

(He can take over my shop when he gets out.)

Frankly I was afraid of something like that. All of the time I spent with him is all positive. I count him as one of my best friends and mentors when it comes to vintage bikes and restoration. And I still do regardless of what happened.

I was inferring that drugs cause people to make poor decisions. My apologies if it appeared otherwise. My statement was not limited to this guy as I don't even know him. I will refrain from such statements in the future. I have had my share of missteps in my life and certainly in my youth was not as pure as the driven snow. I have refrained form the use of alcohol and drugs for some 45 years now. I do however on occasions enjoy a fine cigar in the company of gentlemen.

You don't need to apologize, Peter; drugs have done untold damage to most every community, culture, and country in the world.
