rear mechanical brake shaft

Could someone tell me what the length of the mechanical brake shaft is? Mine is 10,250 inches. I am having trouble with the bell crank rubbing on the exhaust

Off hand I don't know without measuring one but it is only as long as the frame tube and the bellcranks fit nearly flush to the tube, just enough clearance for movement. Your most likely issue is the exhaust Y-pipe.

i frequently have to grind off a bit of the inside of repop bell cranks to get them to fit without rubbing on the pipes when i build mechanical brake bikes.
once in a while i have to bend the bell crank slightly as well.
