  • Panhead Speedometer repair?

    Greetings All!
Got the beloved 1959 FL on the road at the end of last year and my speedometer began making loud noises and then seized. Who should I have take a look at it?
    Thanks!

Hello, Try Joe Napierala as long as he's still doing these. His past email address is ajmnapierala@ica.net He was from the Mississauga Ont area of Canada, I have just sent an email out to him in the last few days about repairs to one of mine that isn't working correctly. I didn't recieve a reply yet although when it comes to patience....I'm very good and almost forgetfull. LOL I'm sure others will recommend rebuilders for you also. I'd like a few to chose from also. Keep riding em, Merlin in Pa.

I've had good luck with John Bordas in Denver. His shop # is 303 988 8828. I think he does the speedo repairs at home.

I had good luck with Palo Alto Speedo.

They worked the unit from my '65 Pan with good results. Took a few months waiting for some parts, but worked great. Had them retain the same face and number wheels to keep things looking used.
