  • spricket rivets

Some of the sprocket rivets on my wife's 65 FLH have started to loosen up. I'd like to replace all of them, but I'm having a hard time finding the ones that supposedly fit '62- '66. Are the ones that fit '67- '72 compatible, or does anyone know where I can find the '62- '66 ones? Sorry about the typo in the heading!

You can also source bags of 100 from Eastern, McMaster carr and other vendors as well.

    Hope this helps,

I got a box from McMaster Carr. If you PM me your address, I'll send you some.

Thanks for the offer Fred. However, when I went to pick up the assembly today and the mechanic showed me the rivets that were loose, they were in fact the 4 hollow rivets at 90 degreees, the ones that locate the sprocket before you begin the riveting process. 2 of the actual rivets that fasten the sprocket on can be rotated, but they're not sloppy in the hole, and I believe with a little persuasion they can be snuuged up. As to the hollow rivets, I think a tapered punch and a small ball bearing will foot the bill for retightening.
